Deviation Actions
My one submission with the most comments (no negative ones, might I add), most views and most favs has been wiped off the face of the earth for being "offensive".
Thanks deviantart.
Thanks deviantart.
Wandering off again
I've tired of Ottawa
and am heading for the hills.
Quite literally.
MIA indefinitally.
Policy Violation! Oh noes!
Yes yes.... my silly drawing of a cartoon of myself selling donuts shaped like penises has been removed for being questionable or offensive.
And it's not that I disagree with their choice... it's the fact that they would delete my Jelly Dong Donuts, and not my obviously phallic Penis Art. It's the inconsistancy that gets me.
And come on... isn't this offensive? Isn't this violent? Doesn't this make repeated reference to boobies? I find it laughable that a site called "deviant" art can censor itself so much.
Enjoy the penis art while you can, kiddies... I'm sure it'll be the next to go!

Devious Journal Entry
We....
Wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
and a happy new year!
Again, Jingle Cats style!
Meow meow meow meow..
meow meow meow meow!!
Alright, that's enough of that.
(roams off singing "I Won't Be Home for Christmas")

It's interesting that artists usually receive more censorship from other artists than any other group.
I'd like to be able to say what is offensive to me than have someone else tell me what is offensive.
If you want to e-mail this "offensive" pic, i'd like to take a look at it.
Doesn't anyone remember Andy Warhol or Robert Mapplethorpe? If they were still alive their artwork would probably be considered offensive by some even though it is tame compared to what we allow our children to watch on network tv.
